Kygo Carry Me VR Experience is a revolutionary music experience that ushers you in to a resplendent visual world.
A Unique VR Experience
Virtual reality (VR) has been around for quite some time and with more handheld devices developing compatibility for the same, the number of people embracing the technology has been on a steady rise. That said, almost no VR offerings have been as unique as Kygo Carry Me. On paper, it might sound like any other music video. But only once you experience it first-hand, you realise the content’s immersive nature.
The song is kind of electronic pop with a scintillating beat. It sounds more like regular pop music, in fact. But the song is more about the in-the-moment experience. The song lasts a solid three to four minutes and within that period, you can imagine yourself getting transported to a world of psychedelic visuals and unusual creatures.
The Visual Journey
The song starts with a nebulous pink shape. With the music gaining momentum, you see less of the abstract shape and more of a shape that looks like a jellyfish. And in almost no time, your entire visual canvas is inundated with different jellyfishes – of various colours, configuration and sizes.
You later progress into a jungle from the underwater environment and then ascend into the sky where a celestial human figure is awaiting your arrival. During this entire visual journey, you are not limited to a specific field of view and can move your head to see all the things around.
